Developing Natural Building in the Northeast

SpiralWorks is working to develop Natural/Green/ Ecological Building in the the Northeast to create highly rewarding and living wage job networks as well as healthy homes. Natural Building can bring inspiring jobs, build community, create healthy spaces, and develop local, bioregional working networks. We encourage people who are interested to gain experience and find natural building jobs to contact us along with anyone who has natural building supplies such as strawbales or clay.

Vision

We find the Northern Forests of Vermont, New York, New Hampshire and Maine as a place where there is a great opportunity to begin developing new responses and stories of how we interact with the world.

We see new (truly ancient) ways of living that respects the earth as a living spirit. We see people respecting others for who they are. We see more healthy, connected relationships.

Mission

SpiralWorks was formed to facilitate transformational responses to living in community; creating shelter and community infrastructure; providing basic needs for healthy living; and participating in global culture.

SpiralWorks collaborates on projects that integrate nature and culture and supports creation of vital, sustainable community living solutions. To research, develop and implement vital, sustainable community living systems which incorporate affordability, bioregional ecology, low impact design and community participation.

To advocate healthy shelter, food, medicine and community through living examples and models, educational workshops, journals and public outreach. To co-create and support networks of self organized, sustainable community development, both locally and globally.

Values
