The Awakening Sanctuary, Inc. was birthed in 1997 from a vision of
co-creating with spirit a sacred sanctuary space for all life. The Sanctuary
is committed to sustainable practices which honor and respect the interconnectedness and
sacredness of all life. Further, the Sanctuary networks with
other individuals, groups, organizations and communities throughout the world
that promote health, spirituality, consciousness and community.
The founders, Julie Windsong and Paul Kervick offer over fifty years of
experience as practioners in the spirit, mind and body fields.
Julie Windsong Kervick, BDiv. has been a body-mind and spiritual educator
since 1974. She has been an ordained minister through the Universal Brotherhood
Movement, Inc. an interfaith ministry since 1984. She is an international
workshop facilitator and language consultant. As a communications consultant and
spiritual mentor, she teaches conscious languaging which respects its effect on
physical and spiritual dimensions. Julie has been a certified practitioner in
the body-mind healing arts. Julie attended Skidmore College and the Boston
Museum Art School and has taught in colleges and universities throughout New
England. In 1977 she founded Pathways To Well Being the first holistic health
center in New England. She was a co-founder and Director of the Awakening Center
for Transformative Therapies and the Healing Arts in Shelburne, Vt. Julie is
currently founder and Director of the Awakening Sanctuary, Inc.
Paul K. Kervick, BDiv., BS., MA. Is an ordained minister, educator and
counselor. Paul received his bachelors in business from Babson College, his
Masters in Education/Counseling from the University of Rhode Island and was
ordained through the Universal Brotherhood Movement, Inc. an interfaith ministry
in 1984. Paul was a founder/Director of New Beginnings, Inc. the first birthing
center in New England, and was co-founder/Director of a k-8 private school. He
was a co-founder and Director of the Awakening Center for Transformative
Therapies and The Healing Arts in Shelburne, Vt. He has taught numerous
workshops and classes at Burlington College in Burlington, Vt. He has over
twenty years of teaching and metaphysical experience. Currently, Paul is
founder/Director of Awakening Sanctuary, Inc.
